Head Measuring Guide

Ensuring the right fit is essential when selecting a medical wig.

At Beautiful Life Changes, we want to guide you through every step of the process.

This guide will help you accurately measure your head for a wig, ensuring your comfort and satisfaction with your final selection.

Before starting, you'll need a flexible measuring tape. If you don't have one, a piece of string and a ruler can also work.

1. Circumference of the Head

The first measurement involves measuring the circumference of your head.

Begin at the front of your hairline.

Wrap the tape around, ensuring it goes behind your ears and across the nape of your neck.

Meet up at the starting point. The measurement in inches you get is the circumference of your head.

2. Front to Back

The next measurement is from the front of your head to the back.

Start at your hairline at the front of your head.

Stretch the tape over the top of your head.

Stop the measurement at the very bottom of your hairline at the back of your neck.

3. Ear to Ear

The final measurement is from ear to ear.

Begin at the point in front of one ear where your hairline ends.

Measure up across the top of your head to the same point in front of the other ear.
Once you have these measurements, you'll have a much better idea of your wig size.

It's recommended to repeat the measurements several times to ensure accuracy.

It's also important to note that most wigs come with adjustable straps that can tighten or loosen the wig by about half an inch, providing additional flexibility and comfort.

At Beautiful Life Changes, we're here to help you at every step. If you're unsure about your measurements or need any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us or schedule a consultation.
